What to expect on your first visit

Many new patients are not sure what to expect during their first visit with a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.). After you have completed the intake forms, the Doctor will ask you questions about you and your conditions, and your health history. After the health history, the Doctor will perform a thorough physical exam, including examining range of motion, physical exam and neurological exam. The combination of history and physical exam, and possible referral for diagnostic studies, will enable the Doctor to have an understanding of what chiropractic services would be appropriate for your condition.

Loose fitting clothing is more helpful for your exam, as it allows you to move more freely.
